Is there no zebra stripes?

The three species of zebras that live in Africa today are striped, although scientists do not agree on whether the animals were colored black with white stripes or white with black stripes.

In any case, the drawing of the skin of these horses has a dual role: serves as a mark of identity and confusion for predators, because they find it difficult to distinguish the boundaries of a copy within the herd.

Only in cases of albinism, scratches appear in light shades, due to lack of pigment. Once there was a subspecies of zebra, the cuaga, which only had scratches on his neck. Died in 1883.
