Why form cavities?

Basically, because the mouth of each person to be retained bacteria fed by sugar and other foods that are in the diet every day, grow and multiply on the teeth, forming a gelatinous and viscous film called plaque.

This film must be removed regularly by brushing and flossing before they harden or solidify, otherwise can lead to the two most common dental diseases: caries and periodontal disease (gum problems).
