Angioma plane

The most common stains that may bring the newborn is the angioma plane. It is due to an excessive proliferation of blood vessels in the dermis and appears in the midline of the face (under the nose, in the entrecejo, on the eyelids and on the forehead).

Most small that look one of these spots on the face also has one in the nape of diamond. This is called angioma Unna (popularly, picotazo the stork), but has the same nature as those angiomas of the face. Today these macules can be removed with the laser dioxide.

However, it is possible that as the child grows to be smaller and losing intensity. Prudence and patience are essential because, ultimately, the vast majority will be clarified. According to experts, 60 percent of these macules disappears in the first five years, and 90 percent before the nine.

Although it is not very often, the angioma can affect the eyes, mouth, an arm or a leg. In this case, the doctor advised that the child be examined by a neurologist or an ophthalmologist to rule out that relate to an organic disease.
