What are Poltergeists?

Mocking spirits or poltergeists are very different from ghosts. The term poltergeist comes from the German words poltern, meaning noisy and mischievous, and Geist, meaning spirit. Among his favorite activities are struggling sounds like the strokes in the dry wall, the thud, the drumming and violent coups, often accompanied by moving objects. While the ghosts usually appear at night, the spirits make their mocking monkey all the time.

These spirits tend to concentrate around a person, not a place, which often pursue his victim from one place to another. The strange phenomena usually start suddenly, may last only a few days or take several years and was suddenly interrupted.

A widely accepted theory holds that the poltergeist is a type of uncontrollable energy that emanates from those who have pending matters in your life, or very repressed emotions such as sexual desires in a teenager.
