Paris is the city universal cemeteries. The Père Lachaise, is the most visited .. has 44 hectares and has hosted so far, one million dead. It contains the graves of Oscar Wilde, Marcel Proust, Chopin, Moliere, Balzac and the famous singer Jim Morrison, leader of the banda "The Doors".
The French capital also has cemeteries in Auteuil, Montmartre and Montparnasse, and 300 km. of catacombs under their soil hosting the bones of more than five million people.
Other famous cemetery in Europe are those of Highgate in London (reminiscent of Victorian), the Zentralfriedhof of Austria (final resting musicians Beethoven, Schubert and Brahms), Stratford-on-Avon (where Shakespeare rests), among others.
In the United States highlights the Forest Lawn in California (where lie Walt Disney, Bette Davis or Humphrey Bogart), and Hollywood Memorial (filled with movie stars) or from Lafayette, in New Orleans, some of the hundred most monuments threatened the planet.
