Evidence of water vapor in the Sun

In our Solar System found evidence of the existence of water in the most extraordinary conditions.

For example, in the Sun, which appears in a state of steam in sunspots, and also on our beloved and dry Moon. In 1994, the radar detected the probe Clementine deposits of ice at the bottom of several deep craters where there is permanent darkness. It is estimated that these comprise between 10,000 and 50,000 square kilometers in the north pole and up to 20,000 at the south pole.

The ice also extends through Europe, one of the Jovian satellites. With a surface temperature of -170 ° C-the lowest achieved on Earth has been -89 ° C, this body presents a completely frozen. But under its icy shell of between 10 and 100 miles thick covers a vast sea of salty water.
