The laboratory experiment longer

It is called the Gota de Tar. It works since 1930 at the University of Queensland in Australia, to demonstrate the extreme viscosity of this substance.
In a container was placed a glass funnel full of it; cut at the end of the funnel, the tar began to drip slowly.

In late 2000 the eighth drop fell, and there is still sufficient to continue the experiment further hundred years. The viscosity of the tar is about 100,000 million times the water.
