The oldest living bacteria

The oldest living bacteria
was suspended within a crystal of salt for 250 million years before it was reanimada by U.S. scientists. This species, named Bacillus 2-9-3, is 10 times older than the previous bacterium resuscitation.

The microbe was discovered by higher altitude NASA in April 1967 to 41.13 km altitude.
