Mystery reproductive behaviour of squid

A squid Atlantic and Pacific, Gonatus onys. has been photographed carrying their children-between 2,000 and 3,000 eggs under-feet. This behavior was unknown until now.

With the help of a remotely piloted submersible cameras and high-resolution, the U.S. investigator Brad Seib has witnessed this astonishing care for a squid, as other species of cephalopod eggs deposited in the sea floor, where they thrive.

The tentacles, performing movements repeated at intervals of 30 or 40 seconds, lifting water between eggs for oxygen.
Those who are dropping, hatch. This ensures that the making and eggs reach maturity.
