The Feldenkrais method for stress


In situations of stress is when more abandon our unconscious body movements, otherwise it would remain rigid and become blocked. This situation usually results in muscle contractions that prevent movements with some relaxation and fluidity.

Stiffness and lack of flexibility in the movements is the body's natural reaction to feelings of sadness, lasting crises and depressions. The Feldenkrais Method of the following principles:

• Awareness of motion: a group of people learn to move and observe themselves.

• Functional integration: A method of teaching without words, through contacts soft and almost unnoticeable, the body moves differently and recognize new forms of conduct.
