Healing properties of seaweed


The algae have been included in the human diet for thousands of years. Are very low in fat and contain various minerals: potassium, iodine, calcium, magnesium and iron, as well as fiber.

In the East, many doctors prescribe them to overcome liver problems and to assist in the smooth functioning of the thyroid gland. According to ancient Chinese medical texts, "there is swelling that does not alleviate the algae.

In the West, algae have been little medical research to demonstrate their benefits in the prevention and treatment of disease. However, recent studies affirm the potential healing properties.
