How was born pop

The Americans invented rock, but the British appropriated the term encompassed dozens of styles and responding to a goal: to create the perfect song that infected the listener and endure over the years.

The Beatles were the first and largest representatives of pop music: rock & roll took the rhythm and blues and other derivatives of black music and compressed in an explosive music and hum, done for young people to identify with her . His message takes over the world to unsuspected limits.

Before 1962, England had groups and soloists such as Shadows, Tornadoes, Cliff Richard and Billy Fury, in the shadow of Americans as Everly Brothers, Buddy Holly or Ray Charles.

With the Beatles, the British aventajaron his first on the other side of the pond, and maintained their status in the sixties.

Merseybeat born in Liverpool, after reaching the swinging London, the Stones, psychedelia, glam and punk, all phenomena patented by the perfidious Albion.

In the eighties, pop was easy and soft because of synthesizers, productions verbose and the preponderance of the image on the artistic content. From Bowie spent a Culture Club, The Jam to Duran Duran. Michael Jackson, Prince and Madonna, subjects Reagan, became the pop icons of the decade.

In'89, Manchester becomes fashionable, but the matter does not transcend borders. To make matters worse, the real alternative, rock noisy and dirty, comes from the United States. Then appear first Pixies, Sonic Youth, and others.

As the pride of the British pop claiming his inheritance, the English music press plays an important role, capable of unknown bands that are besieged by record executives. The grouping "Suede", was the first of these flashes of something that began so-called new wave, and then Brit pop.

Led Zeppelin Resuscitates in London its Legend

Twenty-seven years after their disappearance, Led Zeppelin resuscitated today in London its legend with a masterful review to some of the big classics of the history of the rock like 'Starway To Heaven' (1971) or 'Whole Lotta Love' (1969).

Not they defrauded. With many more featherfews than in the past, an austere image of almost rigorous black, far from the 'look' wild-type of final of the 60 but with the same forcefulness, the British group signed with excellent an unmistakable legacy in a majestic return to the scenarios.

They returned to the big thing, before some 18.000 people that crammed tonight O2 London Sand. There it was heard Robert's special voice again Plant, the harrowing and unmistakable 'riff' with Jimmy's double guitar Page; to a John Paul Jones in plenum abilities with the first floor and the keypads and occupying the place that wasted John left Bonham, his son Jason that knew how to be more than to the height in the battery.

A concert homage went to Ahmet Ertegun, the man that founded the konseal American discográfico Atlantic Records and that it bet in 1968 on the potential of the Britons, transforming them into the first rock band that registered for a discográfica specialized in soul groups and R&B.

Although they were Plant, Page, Jones and Bonham 'júnior' those that led the British tribute to the 60 years of career of Ertegun, deceased to the 83 years in December of the 2006, had exception foreword. In O2 Sand they were giant as Bill Wyman, former Rolling Stone, the group Foreigner or Paul Rogers but also young musicians like the Scottish singer Paolo Nutini that made versions of Ray Charles ('Mess Around') and Nancy Sinatra ('Bang Bang').

Tonight, almost three decades after that the excesses with the alcohol to those that John accustomed Bonham - it died in 1980 after ingesting anything less than 40 chupitos of vodka - they put point and final to the quartet, Led Zeppelin cleaned the same ingredients that lifted up to the music's Olympus.

Again it was heard their efficient adjunction of the hard rock, the mysticism of their letters and the brushstrokes 'blue' and folk of their music that you/they lit to an auditory of nostalgic that chanted all the topics almost, some of the first album, Led Zeppelin I, as 'Good Time bad Time' that opened the show or the topic Gothic blue of 'Dazed And Confused.'

Neither Jason disappointed Bonham in a moment qualified by him same as 'definitional.' The musician made resuscitate his father's hands, of the one that waited, he said that him 'something whispered to the hearing.' And it owed book credit been this way.

They threshed other unforgettable songs of Led Zeppelin II (October 22 1969) with 'Ramble On', framed in a decoration in which the images of the musicians left superimposing in geometric, blank and black funds, in sour and electric shades.

But London also vibrated with tunes setenteras like 'Since I've Been Loving You' (Led Zeppelin III, 1970), a dark and sexy but also magic and elegant topic, for the one that today the Britons chose to dye of red the giant screen that framed the scenario.

Jimmy's wild-type riff Page in 'Black Dog' (1971) or the always reminiscent 'Starway To Heaven' - Led Zeppelin IV (1971) - they transported to the British liking.

This last, almost the contemporary music's hymn, supposed, predictably, one of the algid moments of the night. The eight minutes that the song lasts passed flying and Zeppelin recreated like years ago the progression of the song and its estremecedor scanned from the softest chords until the efficient sound of a harrowing battery (to debit memorandum, today, of Bonham 'junior'). Without forgetting, clear, the exceptional one alone of guitar of Page.

There was time for the improvisation, and even to enter a new topic. It was at this time, in the first part of the concert, when Plant, very talkative with those congregated, it counted to the audience that were come to mind 'thousands and thousands of memories' and he/she appreciated the fact of 'to have Jason in the group.'

The cherry of the cake put it with psychedelic Kashmir (Physical Graffiti, 1975), a sonic boast in which its imposing soloist shone.

Acclaimed by the public's requirements, Led Zeppelin had to walk twice more on stage. They returned at 1969 with 'TO Whole Lotta Love' and they culminated this exceptional meeting with their accent mark more rock in 'Rock And Roll.'

They were two hours of authentic ecstasy for a considered group the best in the decade of the 70. For many, also, the best formation in rock of the music's history.

John Lennon the Legend Beatle Continues

John Lennon, to 27 years of their death.

John Lennon, cover of 'Imagine'Un day like today 27 years ago, John Winston Lennon, it was murdered by Mark David Chapman.

John Lennon who is one of my favorite artists composed some of my favorite songs as they are:

* (Just Like) Starting Over
* Woman
* Imagine

Although the toward well in Beatles and later I eat soloist, I suppose that he/she had more sympathy with the quartet of Liverpool, accidentally the day before yesterday I could watch a biographical movie about Paul McCartney, which was very good and with a dramatic (Linda's death McCartney because of the cancer) end, jumping that part will speak of the parts where it exitted John, good in fact they were not many but I don't know if it will have been based faithfully on the truth but they painted John Lennon like a type that it lost the control easily, ending up breaking the window of Paul's house because this it had sued to the members of the band, to part of in another scene he/she enters to Paul's house and it breaks up a box with a drawing made by John Lennon, to part that he/she walked always accompanied by Yoko Ono, this if I believe that it is certain, anyway fué a great type, although something of rivalry was noted between both.

BIOGRAPHY
John Winston Lennon was born October 9 1940 in Liverpool during a bombing of punishment of the Nazi aviation.
Their father was a merchant called sailor Alfred Freddy Lennon, when Lennon was born its father it was in high seas and very rarely it was at home.
John step their years of childhood with their mother Julia Stanley which took a rhythm of very scatterbrained life, because he liked the drink a lot and it frequented the pubs where it had soldered. In fact he/she had a daughter outside of the marriage the one that gave in adoption.

After having a strong discussion John's parents, these they outlined to the petty one that chooses to leave with one of both. And before such a dilemma he/she decided to leave with their mother.
But if young John hoped to stay a lot of time with his mother he made a mistake, since the abnormality of the life tames of its mother it was determinant to give it to its aunt Mimi so that raises him.

The aunt Mimi and the uncle George lived in the flanked suburbs of physicians and other professionals. Their uncle George was proprietary of rented accommodations and of a dairy, and they had a gardener that went twice a week.
But petty John's uncles were not rich, because they had to accomodate medicine students to raise the earnings of the family.

When John was seventeen years old he had the tragic notice that his mother had died run over by a car that that serious for the petty one a great one lost, of which never overcame. ( In fact the beautiful ballad that he/she wrote later ten years "Julia" or in their first album in solitary "Mother").

Being in the school of secondary Quarry Bank hears a disk of Elvis and this undoubtedly the it won't be less, for what I form with their gang the called group Quarry Men in which was their friend Peter.
And being acting in a social meeting in the gardens of the church St. Peter a friend common of John and Paul enter them, this serious the day June 6 1957.

After hearing John to play, Paul is impressed and like he said Paul later on (I Thought: oh it is good), but was being heard to play I reciprocate, because John when checking like Paul that was much better than those that taenia in the group outlines a great dilemma to John played (if I catch him/her and me until then the main of the group That would happen was? ) but its decision to strengthen the group could more and to final Paul I enter to be part of Quarry Men.

Paul that knew George of going together in the bus to the institution decides to enter it to the remainder of the group, but up to March 13 1958 it would not be part of the same one.
John knew Cynthia Powell of the art school and which was strained by John began to exit together and years later would marry.
After having a splendid stage in judicial actions I arrive the decadence and while Stu and John shuffled different names for the group, to Stu he/she was happened to put Beetles (scarabs) but John quickly I transform it in Beatles (the rhythmic ones), this name was shorter catching that the previous ones. After many judicial actions in Hamburg would know Astrid Kircherr which was the creator of the hairstyle of Beatles. The judicial actions were happened and to the being a little more famous the owner of an important store of disks Brian Epstein concerted an interview with Beatles in its store to offer them that serious its representative. This happened December 3 1961.

After recording some plain ones in Hamburg, Brian got some recording sessions in EMI being to the front producing George Martin that when hearing them play wise that could take out something good of that group, but what he didn't like was the form of playing the battery of Pete Best for what suggested that they would have to change battery and it was this way. August of 1962 Ringo 18 serious Starr the new member of The Beatles.
Already with the four absolute members they would record their first plain (Love me do and PSI Love you) with enough success. But November 26 would record their plain (Please, Please Me) second their first world great success and the beginning of a landmark THE BEATLES.

John taenia the custom of going causing some grace or some insinuation, in fact when Command acted in Royal Performace before the Queen mother the day December 4 to the I end of a song he/she said: (Those that occupy those the cheapest seats, have the kindness to applaud. The remainder can make sound its jewels. )
In March of 65 John in an interview that granted, one of the journalists Maureen Cleave asks him/her on its religious opinion and he/she said: The Christianity will disappear. He/she will disappear or he/she will dwarf. We, now, are more popular than Jesus Christ.

Not I know what it will disappear before, if the rock'n'roll or the Christianity. For this sentence in U.S. he/she was organized a monumental scandal.

November of 1966 John 9 know Yoko Ono in Indian Gallery of London and they would coincide in more places. John found in Yoko the support that he needed in his ups and downs of character that taenia, post-mortem of Brian that was the one that better it controlled John's character, this he collapsed.
Months later the one that was wife of John starts the you process of divorce after six exact years of marriage. And in April of 69 John he/she marries Yoko in Gibraltar and in 1975 his second son, call would be born they are. The first son had it with his previous wife

which calls you Julian Lennon. John and and their inseparable wife Yoko always showed in favor of the Peace and against the war like the one that happened in Vietnam composing one of the most beautiful ballads in all the times "Imagines" and I sing to the Peace.
Spent already some years, in October of 1980 John Long Play records Double Fantasy with which would be very successful and soon serious disk of gold. In that same year the day December 8 at 11 in the night in the lobby of the building Dakota, the called youth Mark Chapman and fanatic of John he/she requests him/her an autograph, but when refusing it this, it shoots him/her seven shots provoking him/her forthwith the death. That dawn of the day 9 spread the notice at world level that John Lennon had died.

The man that murdered John Lennon
Mark David Chapman is known by book credit murdered John Lennon.
Chapman who studied in the University of Covenant in Lookout Mountain, Georgia, it was hospitalized during their youth by mental illness. In 1977 he/she tried to commit suicide in a fruitless way. The novel The guardian among the rye (The Catcher in the Rye), of J.D. Salinger, had a great meaning for him, until the point of wanting to model its life to the style of the main character of the book Holden Caulfield.
In the morning of December 8 1980 he/she bought "The guardian's copy among the rye", in a bookstore of New York in which he wrote "This is my statement", and "The guardian signed among the rye" he novelizes of the one that already had different copies.

Chapman was most of December 8 near the entry of apartments in which John lived Lennon, speaking with other fans and with the porter.

Around 5:00 P.M., when John Lennon and Yoko Ono came out of Dakota for a session in the Record Plant Studios. While Lennon walked toward the limousine Chapman it was able to narrow the singer's hand and that it signed him/her a copy of its last I dial "Double Fantasy", in spite of it, it remained waiting in the entry until the couple returned.

Around 10:50 P.M., the limousine of Lennon returned to Dakota, Lennon and Ono they passed next to Chapman road toward the entry of the building. From the street Chapman gave the turn and I carry out five shots four of those which impacted with the shoulder and the shoulder of Lennon. One of the bullets perforated the aorta of Lennon, causing severe forfeiture of blood for the aortic dissection.

Chapman remained in the scene, sack its copy of "The guardian between the rye" and attempt to read it until I arrive the police. The officers of the Department of police of New York that it was the first in responding to the shots, recognized that the wounds of Lennon were very severe so they decided to transfer it to the Hospital Roosevelt in the vehicle police. Chapman was arrested without any complication.

Lennon was declared dead to 11:20 p.m. after book credit lost more than 80% of their blood.

Mark David Chapman, turned its 20 year-old penalty in the year 2000, in spite of it, it remains in its cell of the Reformatory of Attica. It has been refused him/her the parole in four occasions due to the unusual" "nature of their crime.

In October of 2006, after an audience with the murderer that lasted 16 minutes, the Commission of Freedom low Word deemed that "in spite of recognizing positive advances in the prisoner's attitude, due to the extremely violent nature of the crime, its release would not be convenient for interest of the community." The proximate appearance before the Commission of Freedom low Word is foreseen that he/she takes place in October of the 2008, the fans of former Beatle, hopes it is not granted him/her.
