Chestnut-colored

The chestnuts are preferred the diets by your contained caloric and fat first floor, regarding other dry fruits.

They are rich in minerals as the potassium that together with the sodium, you regulate the balance of water in the organism and the heart rhythm, preventing the retention of liquids and improving the mental processes.

Also, they are rich in vitamins E, C and B6. this last, help to prevent the anaemia.

To take advantage of the virtues of the chestnuts, the best thing is to eat them fresh, but with moderation, since they can be flatulent and indigestible.

They are also delicious hoes, dry, boiled or conserved in sugar (either brown or glacé).
