How to detect the deviations in the spine

We propose you 4 tests, so that you can detect if you have deviations in the spine. You are very actual to carry out them in children, since it will be much easier to correct them.

1 the alignment of the shoulders

The person stays pause with the arms to both sides of the body and the right head. Stop in front of her.
- The good position is when the two shoulders are aligned, they are to the same height.
- The bad position is when a shoulder is more high than the other one and you can, also, to be lightly later on. You are an escoliosis sign, a deformation of the spine that correspond to a wraparound of the vertebras. The not aligned shoulders are one of the reasons of urgent query, since the escoliosis that are given generally in the children, evolves during the increment.

2 the test of the thread with plummet

you allow to diagnose an asymmetry of the spine and it can be carried out with a bunch of keys and some tape. The person should be stopped, right, with the arms to both sides of the body. Stop behind her. You take the tape and lean on it starting from half of the nape until finding the wrinkle among the gluteus.
- The good position is when the tape stops by the means of the two scapulas. The trunk is equilibrated and the right column.
- The bad position is when the tape is next to one of the two scapulas. You are sign of a deviation of the spine, generally of an escoliosis.

3 the shoulder against the wall

Pause the person, is arranged with the shoulder against the wall, the arms to both sides of the body, the very right head. You arrange yourself to the side, so that you can see it of profile.
- The good position is when the shoulder, of below up, you are perfectly pasted to the wall.
- The bad position. If you note the presence of a small hump, it can be about a bad posture. The person stops bad, you get lazy with the curved shoulder and the fallen shoulders. If this encorvamiento of the shoulder persists, even when you are requested that you stop right, you are spoken of kyphosis, that is to say, of a curved true shoulder.

4 the flexion

Of foot, with the legs you adjoin and enhanced, with the very right pelvis, the person leans with the arms toward before as if you wanted to be played the feet. Stop behind her and you browse this way the shoulder curved. Your left-hand side and your right (of each side of the column) part should be perfectly symmetrical. If ésto doesn't happen, that person shows up a deviation of the spine that will be browsed.
