Does you put on weight when aging?

As we age, and more concretely starting from the 30 years, the physical activity falls and they are unchained a series of hormone changes that you/they cause a slow but unstoppable reduction of the meager muscular mass in benefit of the fats. This moderates the metabolic activity until the end that the ingested foods burn in a less efficient way. Even, during the exercise they wear out less calories. The increase of senile weight is something higher in the women that in the men.
