Health problems from chronic stress


Under stress the body releases adrenaline, the five senses become acute, accelerated pulse and breathing and tightens the muscles, preparing to fight or flee. But if the threat is constant, the body begins to fail for the strain to which it is subjected. Many call stress the body's natural reaction to this state and distress is prolonged in time.

The negative effects of distress are:
• Irritation and stress
• gastric ulcers
• Heart disease
• Inability to enjoy
sex
• Cancer of various types
• Stroke
• Asthma
• Migraines
• Depression
• Anxiety
• Insomnia
• Addictions
• Nervousness
• Mental exhaustion
