How to combat asthma with medicinal herbs


The bronchial asthma is a disease that causes breathlessness and coughing. It usually appears during the night, wheezing and breathing out thick mucus. Its causes can be changes in climate with cold, infection, strenuous physical exercise, medication, strong emotions like fear or nervousness, and allergies to dust and pollen.

Natural remedies are recommended relaxing expectorants soothe bronchial spasms and help release pulmonary secretions. The most desirable plants for treating asthma are greater plantain, thyme and licorice.

Greater Plantain (Plantago major) is antibacterial and emollient respiratory level. It is used in asthma, rhinitis, coughs and hay fever. To prepare, put two teaspoons in a cup of boiling water at least fifteen minutes, strain and sweeten with honey. Take two or three cups a day. The common thyme (thimus vulgaris) relaxes and respiratory conditions makes fluid dryly. Browse five grams in a glass of water and boil for ten minutes.

Sweeten with honey and drink three cups a day. Licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra) is a powerful anti-inflammatory and pulmonary level, expectorant and relaxing. Boil for a few minutes five grams of dried root and take it before meals, three times a day.
