Effects and duration of botox

Wrinkles begin to disappear between three and five days after the injection. In some cases may be minor bruising or burning in the area that received the Botox. This is of no gravity and will correct itself without recourse to any extra procedure.

The effects of Botox usually last three to five months. After several applications, the results can be longer, the effect reaches six to eight months. Furthermore, the lines no longer have the same depth after injecting this substance, as if the muscles remain relaxed, the lines are marked less and not increase with the passage of time.

The younger the patient being treated, the more obvious are the benefits (the technique begins to lose effectiveness in people over sixty years). This resource does not replace cosmetic surgery, but is a very good alternative for those who do not want to resort to surgery.
