Modifying the human DNA to cure

Editions DNA. Researchers from Duke University have discovered a way to correct faulty genetic codes in living cells of the human body.

"Editing" some genetic information, doctors believe that the new technique could someday serve to treat diseases based on genes, such as cell anemia, and even halt the spread of HIV / AIDS.

The technique involves mandar special enzymes in living cells, where essentially correct errors of genetic information, stopping the spread of viruses and diseases. This is a preliminary investigation, scientists warn. Edit the DNA is a procedure that is still popular for several years.
