How many hours of sleep babies need?

The dream is a state that evolves gradually with age. Thus, at six months, babies tend to sleep an average of 15 hours a day, 12 of them during the night and the rest spread over short periods of rest in the morning and afternoon. Gradually, the needs of sleep are reduced. At the same time, increases the duration of sleep at night, while the daytime decreases.

In this way, to meet the first year, many babies do not sleep more than 14 hours a day, mostly at night, and only do a little siesta after lunch. This, although it may be shortened, should not be deleted before the three years.
