Ovarian dysfunction

A relatively common cause of infertility in women is the hormonal disorders that affect the functioning of the ovaries. It may be that there is no ovulation, or that it is irregular. Detection. Ovulation disorders can be studied by serial transvaginal ultrasound monitoring, control of daily basal temperature, the use of reagents in urine tests (which can be purchased freely in pharmacies), made dosajes hormone (blood) in various stages of the cycle menstrual, endometrial biopsy performed shortly before menstruation or laparoscopy (method by which its complexity is not used routinely for this purpose).

Treatment.
If necessary, it stimulates ovulation using drugs. This technique, which requires great control serial-to-vaginal ultrasound scans, as there is risk of a multiple pregnancy, can only be done by experts.
