Changes in puberty in adolescents

The age of great change. Puberty, a period of change, is a particularly difficult stage for the kids. The more parents know the subject, may better understand their children.

Have left childhood, but they still have a long and sometimes difficult path to reach maturity. They are in full time physical, mental and emotional. The male and female hormones, which are necessary for children to become men and women, operating at full capacity. Her body is transformed, and often are not sufficiently prepared for this.

Starting the way:
The onset of puberty varies between eleven and thirteen years in girls and thirteen and fifteen in children. In these, the first sign is the growth of the breasts and the appearance of pubic hair. A little later, at about twelve, the majority have their first menstruation, or menarche.

At this early stage is ladies in the so-called estirón, characteristic of puberty. The result is the typical image of the gawky and awkward teenager who
gives the impression of not knowing what to do with his arms and legs, too big for the rest of the body.
The boys enter puberty between one and two years later than them.

First they grow testes and penis, and you see the pubic hair. Then will come the first voice changes, the first spontaneous ejaculations, especially during sleep and, later, the development of the beard.
Many of them are affected in this age acne, which is responsible for testosterone. This male hormone stimulates the sebaceous glands of the skin and makes the hair is always greasy and face full of granite.

Development plan:
These figures are purely indicative, since puberty passes in each child differently. In most cases, the onset of adolescence depends on hereditary predisposition. Thus, parents worried because her daughter fourteen years is the only of its kind that is not the rule, should try to remember: They probably also had a late development.

But when a child's development differs totally from the normal periods, it is possible that something is not right. Psychological problems, family problems or even a rejection of becoming a larger, making the process can not start or interrupted abruptly. It also depends on health. A serious illness in children late, sometimes change.

Another reason may be the sport. The intensive training, we refer to competitive sport involves a stress-so great that often directly affects children's development.

Anabolic steroids - Benefits and side effects

Its advantages
The anabolic steroids have been used successfully in the medical world to treat different types of injuries and illnesses, but all reports made so far indicate that the only benefits in healthy people are increasing muscle size and strength and physical endurance to train longer. But there is no evidence that any of these benefits can endure for long.

Disadvantages
(side effects)
Physical.
If the use of hormones does not cause side effects, would be allowed to use all the athletes. The rules that prohibit the use of male hormones are basically designated to protect the physical and mental health of athletes.

Excessive doses can cause, among other things, cancer, hepatitis, risk of heart attacks and direct damage to the same muscle as well as increased cholesterol levels in the blood, stimulate the production of cancer cells, causing the body stops production of testosterone, which in turn would cause severe effects on libido and sexual functions.

Some of the most notorious are the increase in body and facial hair, increased sebaceous secretions (oily skin), acne and priapism (persistent and painful erections). The frequent users also may experience cramps and spasms associated with rapid changes in their muscle mass.

Ordinarily, when used oral steroids, can suffer from gastrointestinal problems, including loss of appetite, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation and bowel irritation. When steroids are introduced into the body, a portion of the male hormone becomes the female hormone (estrogen), it can get to develop the bust in men.

Since the beginning of their use, can have headaches, bleeding from the nose, fatigue, weakness and fainting. In youngest users can cause cessation of bone development, which affects their growth, and further intensify even more the appearance of acne.

As if all this were not enough, a recent report indicates that excessive testosterone can cause the growth of prostate and block the flow of urine. It has also been seen in both men and women cause temporary infertility.

Psychological. Steroids, on the other hand, largely affecting the central nervous system and, indeed, psychological symptoms can be even more palpable that the biological at 70 per cent of cases are the first to appear.

Many consumers say they feel very well during the period using steroids, but studies say the opposite has been found that those who have used changing moods, showing aggression, violence, depression (especially when there is a dependency steroids), paranoia, extreme irritability without apparent cause, disappointment and sense of invincibility.

Steroids also increase the level of cortisol, a hormone the body, which is largely the cause of stress. This can cause neurological problems and hypertension. A study conducted by Harvard University, concluded that one eighth of the users of anabolic steroids suffered from the so-called "body-of Psychosis," which includes symptoms of hallucinations and paranoia.

The anabolic steroids as all types of drugs, have advantages and disadvantages; unfortunately, the latter are higher. At first, steroids were classified as miracle drugs.

A large number of athletes took their use to view their surprising results, why is that they have been awarded their jobs. However, increasingly people are within their influence, making the drug not only covering the sports world, but also in many developed countries is a fashion in gyms and even in schools and universities.

The psychological and medical communities around the world continue to study how beneficial and harmful are, and are increasingly being uncovered negative effects that positive.

The importance of the liver

In this organ of our body, was awarded more than 500 functions. Among many others, to store sugar and fat, the formation of antibodies, the elimination of toxins, digestion and absorption of fats and vitamins A, D, K and E.

Many hormones are processed in the liver, hence that when it fails it can cause alterations in the hormonal functions.

Moreover, cholesterol, from which they form the so-called "sex hormones (estrogen, progesterone, testosterone), needed when the liver was severely affected, causing thus disturbances in the menstrual cycle.

And that's not all: this is a body self-sufficient, being able to regenerate quickly. Even though much of its substance has been removed by surgery, in a few months the liver grows, standardizing its activity almost completely.

Age fertile men

Although it is difficult to propose an age cutoff to determine whether, since then, things will begin to go wrong for boys, accepting, perhaps by social convention, which quarantine is an emblematic age.
Then, some of the parts of machinery body begin to fail. For example, is an established fact that both epidemiologically obesity such as diabetes or heart disease are more frequent since then, and that this decline is also manifested at the level of the skin or the same muscle strength, going down gradually.

However, as they say women mature when they relate to the impossibility of having children with menopause, "the man does not pass, it is always young for that." "While the challenges are beginning to procreate in the women around 36-37 years, men have no limit," says Nicholas Garrido, director of the Andrology lab bench and semen Valencian Infertility Institute (IVI).

For its part, Garrido questioned, "because there is no scientific evidence" that there is really called Andropause-although many women would be willing to swear when they talk about their husbands. "There is no specific features that allow analytical determined. For example, if Midas testosterone levels in men 50 years, it is safer that 95% is within normal."

In fact, the study or the mention of the Andropause as assumption study is very recent. It is thought that these physiological changes begin to occur in men older than 55 years.
